Song of Solomon 2:9-10

"My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he

standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the

windows, shewing himself through the lattice. My

beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my

fair one, and come away."

As I was pondering on this scripture, I saw Jesus looking at me like a hart, outside the window. He was waiting for me while I was hiding behind the curtains. Yet He continued to encourage me with His gentle eyes, “come, run to Me!” I could almost hear Him shouting out to me.

Every now and then, we’d have moments of distress and exhaustion. Perhaps we all had our portions of hurt in our journey of ministry. At times like that, all that I want is to hide and rest in Jesus. Yet every time He’d draw me close with His love, calling me to run with Him, run to those who are waiting to be saved in the world!

Yes Jesus, my suffering is trivial compared to Your pain

on the Cross. Forgive me oh Lord, help me not to dwell

in my pain and my past. Bend me, revive me, rekindle

me! I am willing to run with You to a world that is lost.

Fear not, you who are weary and frustrated. Fix your

eyes on Jesus and His love will encourage you, recharge you!

Thank you Jesus for Your unrelenting and unconditional love. You know me best, Jesus. I love You!
